The exhibition was a journey throughout the life and career of this actress. A meticulous selection of original, unpublished material from her family's archives, such as contemporary photographs of her films and theater productions, showed her ties to the Residencia de Estudiantes, the literary and artistic avant-garde movement and the Generation of 27.
Josefina de la Torre dubbed the voice of Marlene Dietrich in Spanish. Their photos were shown in the exhibition, as well as photos taken during the filming of her brother's movies in which she started. One of them, El misterio de las Marismas, was played at the exhibition. There were also unpublished film scripts, music scores and books such as Gerardo Diego's Poesía española. Antología (Contemporáneos) in which he included Josefina de la Torre and Ernestina de Champourcin as the only two women of the Generation of 27. Her unpublished book of autographs, with drawings and dedications by artists like Edgar Neville, Antonio Buero Vallejo, Rafael Alberti, Federico García Lorca, Luis Buñuel and Gerardo Diego was also displayed.
