The application of new technological tools that characterize the information society is allowing the Residencia de Estudiantes to bring its activities to new audiences. In this context, the Residence has been developing projects such as a network of centers and virtual archives of the Silver Age of contemporary Spanish culture (1868-1936), COVAX (Contemporary Culture Virtual Archive in XML) and ACCEDE (Access to the digital memory of contemporary culture), whose ultimate goal is to contribute to the adaptation of cultural memory in Spanish to the information society, facilitating its dissemination, and the use of our cultural legacy (literary, artistic and scientific) for teaching and research.
This seminar, under the coordination of José Antonio Millán and Carlos Wert, aims to educate and train professionals in cultural institutions in the creation of cultural content for the Web.
