The seminar will analyze reading as the key to knowledge in the information society and its role in the assimilation and understanding of digital information. We are facing several paradoxes related to reading. Individual and social practices of reading are based on strategies and techniques that are centuries old but have been changing. And the reader of today is also creating new practices. A select group of experts from various disciplines, background and countries will address these issues.
