Browsers are the axis on which access to information gravitates, both on the Web and in specialized documentary corpus. Research in Humanities must  use both. Moreover, given the nature of its objectives, this research should make a creative and varied use of the search.

This seminar aims to provide an overview of general search procedures that large global companies are developing, as well as search systems arising from initiatives linked to the world of academic and archival research. It would be a meeting point between the main creators of current browsers and the specialized audience that uses them.
